Prep day in Dodgeville

Update on the Timberframe Booth from this morning. Bryan, Alex, myself and a new friend Jake were able to convene out at Bryan's shop this morning to have a look over of the Booth from last year's Earth Day Event. We decided to hold off on reworking any of the joinery until the morning of this year's Event and simply re-stacked the timbers out of the way in Bryan's driveway. I am hoping that we have better success with the auction of the timberframe this year and I am working the promotion of it starting right now. Please help out by forwarding the coming poster about the Timber Frame auction once I get it posted. Thanks all, Eric J.

Starting up the BHNBG blog

Greetings friends,
I'm happy to inform you of a new addition to the Blue Heron Natural Builders Guild website and network. I am starting up a much needed Blog that will be utilized to keep open conversations going among us natural builders and advocates in the southern wisconsin region. We have not set up this opportunity as of yet and our friend Alex Greene with Red Beard Lumber has inspired me to finally move forward on this virtual tool in order to continue the growth and excitement around sustainable and natural building methods and projects in our area. Please consider signing yourself up on this blog if you have interest in local natural building projects and opportunities because this is the place where I will personally be focusing my energies with updates and entries for the Blue Heron Guild and sustainable building network.
Thanks much and I look forward to what this blog will open up...
